Return & Exchange Policy

At Almas Jewellers, our goal is to ensure that every customer is fully satisfied with their purchase. We take great pride in the quality and craftsmanship of our jewellery, and we want your shopping experience to be smooth, transparent, and enjoyable. Please read the following policy carefully to understand how returns, exchanges, and related requests are handled.

Eligibility for Returns and Exchanges
We accept returns and exchanges under specific conditions to maintain quality standards. Jewellery items may be returned or exchanged within the allowed time frame only if they remain unused, undamaged, and in their original condition. The product must include all accessories, certificates, valuation documents, and packaging materials originally provided. Any item showing signs of wear, alteration, resizing, or damage will not qualify for a return or exchange.

Time Frame
Customers may request an exchange within 7 days of purchase. Returns for store credit may also be considered within the same 7-day window, depending on product condition and category. Custom-made, engraved, or specially ordered items are not eligible for return or exchange.

Non-Returnable Items
Certain items cannot be returned due to their nature or customization. These include made-to-order jewellery, engraved pieces, personalized items, discounted or promotional items, and products purchased during special sale events. Additionally, earrings may not be returned due to hygiene and safety regulations.

Condition Requirements
All items must be returned in the same condition in which they were sold. Jewellery must be untarnished, unaltered, and free from scratches or damage. If the product includes certification from a laboratory or company, it must be returned together with the item. Missing packaging or certificates may lead to a deduction from the refund or rejection of the return request.

Proof of Purchase
To complete a return or exchange, you must provide a valid receipt, invoice, or online order confirmation. Without proof of purchase, we may not be able to process your request. For online orders, the order number and delivery confirmation may also be required.

Refund Method
Refunds, where applicable, are generally offered in the form of store credit rather than cash. Store credit can be used for future purchases and does not expire. Cash refunds may only be provided in exceptional cases, at the discretion of management, and after verifying product integrity. Online order refunds will be processed using the original payment method whenever possible.

Exchange Process
If you wish to exchange an item for another product, the value will be assessed based on the original purchase price. If the new item is of higher value, you will be required to pay the price difference. If the new item is of lesser value, the remaining amount may be issued as store credit, depending on the circumstances.

Online Order Returns
For online customers, return and exchange requests must be submitted through our customer support team within 7 days of receiving the delivery. Items must be shipped back safely using secure and insured packaging. Shipping charges for returns are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to an error on our part.

Damaged or Incorrect Items
If you receive an item that is damaged during delivery or is not the item you ordered, you must inform us immediately—preferably within 24 hours of receiving the package. We will arrange for inspection and, if confirmed, provide a replacement or exchange at no extra cost to you.

Inspection and Approval
All returned items undergo a thorough inspection by our quality assurance team. Approval or rejection of the return is based solely on the condition of the product and compliance with this policy. Inspections typically take 2 to 5 working days from the date we receive the returned item.

Jewellery Alterations and Repairs
Any item that has been resized, repaired, or altered by any jeweller other than Almas Jewellers automatically becomes ineligible for return or exchange. We offer our own repair and adjustment services, and charges may apply depending on the nature of the work.

Gold Rate Considerations
Gold jewellery is subject to market rate fluctuations. In case of an exchange involving gold items, the valuation will be based on the current gold rate, not the rate at the time of purchase. Making charges and craftsmanship fees are non-refundable.

Certificates and Documentation
Products accompanied by third-party certificates (such as diamond grading reports) must be returned with those documents intact. Lost or damaged certificates will require replacement fees, which will be deducted from the refund or credit amount.

Gift Items
Items purchased as gifts follow the same return policy. If you received a gift and wish to return it, you may be eligible for store credit, provided that the item meets all return conditions and you present the original packaging or gift receipt.

Customer Responsibility
Customers are responsible for ensuring that returned items are packed securely to prevent damage during transit. We are not responsible for items lost or damaged due to improper packaging or courier mishandling.

Almas Jewellers reserves the right to update or modify this Return & Exchange Policy at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Customers are encouraged to review the policy periodically.
